Scissors Hoops Medium

My star scissors, by far the one I use the most. I like to carry it in my hand when I walk in the garden because there is always something to cut or tweeze.
It is very strong and the easiest tool to sharpen. Sharpen it every so often, so you will always have a new one and it will be easier to sharpen than if you leave it for a long time. Just a few passes over our fine sharpening stone and you’ll have it sharp in 2 minutes.
For pruning branches and roots up to 1cm in diameter (depending on species) also for quick clipping, cutting tape, raffia and even branches with aluminium wire up to 1.5mm and copper wire up to 1mm.

Also for some deadwood work when it is tender and I have to cut some burrs or sharpen a thin jin.
As with all tools maintenance is important and you should get into the habit of cleaning them with the tool polish every day. You will get more precise cuts and avoid the possible transmission of pathogens when pruning from one tree to another.
I can’t work without it.
