Su uso genérico es para hacer injertos, preparar la púa y la lengüeta. Si trabajas con sabinas ya habrás escuchado muchas veces que es mejor injertarlas con itoigawa. La verdad es que esa tendencia está ya muy extendida y eso es por algo. El otro gran uso de esta herramienta nos lleva a la poda de caducos. Cuando queremos cicatrizar una herida de poda lo mejor es repasar el corte con esta cuchilla, para que sea lo más limpio posible y taparlo a continuación con la pasta selladora sólida para caducos. Esa que también menciono en mis videos como “tipo plastilina”. ¡Los resultados son sorprendentes!
